HAUS SPACE đã khéo léo ứng dụng phương pháp tích hợp pha để chuyển đổi quán cà phê hiện có thành không gian mới mà vẫn đảm bảo hoạt động kinh doanh liên tục, đồng thời giữ vững mối quan hệ với thiên nhiên xung quanh.
Chiến lược Vật Liệu Tối Ưu Cho Quá Trình Sửa Chữa Pha
Dự án này phản ánh cách tiếp cận sáng tạo trong việc tối ưu hóa nguồn lực hạn chế khi thực hiện cải tạo không gian. HAUS SPACE chọn giải pháp cấu trúc bằng thép nhẹ cho hệ thống mái, vừa giảm chi phí xây dựng lại vừa đảm bảo khả năng thấu sáng cần thiết trong điều kiện khí hậu nhiệt đới. Thiết kế này đặc biệt quan trọng vì nó giúp tối ưu hóa việc sử dụng ánh sáng tự nhiên – yếu tố then chốt để hạn chế phụ thuộc vào hệ thống chiếu sáng nhân tạo, vốn tốn kém trong mùa hè nóng bức của Việt Nam. Điểm nhấn ấn tượng là việc khéo léo tái hiện các chi tiết cấu trúc gỗ truyền thống từ quán cà phê cũ qua hệ thống thép, tạo nên một ngôn ngữ kiến trúc liên kết giữa quá khứ và hiện tại mà không làm gián đoạn quy trình xây dựng pha.

The site’s diverse tropical terrain—mountains, forests, rivers, and sandy beaches—demands a design that respects both the immediate environment and the client’s phased renovation timeline. With limited funds necessitating multiple construction stages, HAUS SPACE deliberately engineered transitions that sustain the café’s functionality without disrupting its relationship with nature or the existing structure.
Material Strategy for Cost-Conscious Phasing
The project’s material choices directly address Lagi’s economic constraints while maintaining visual continuity with the site’s natural rhythms. HAUS SPACE opted for a lightweight steel roof structure to minimize costs without sacrificing essential light penetration—a critical factor in tropical climates where natural illumination reduces reliance on artificial lighting. This decision aligns with the region’s practical needs, as steel offers durability and thermal efficiency compared to traditional materials that might require excessive energy input during Vietnam’s hot summers. Crucially, the steel framework was designed to replicate the familiar wood frame observed in the existing restaurant, creating a visual dialogue between past and present construction techniques.
The neutral color palette—inspired by nearby riverbed rocks and dam structures—further supports the project’s phased approach.
